Dark grey and sizeable species, able to roll into a ball shape. Very similar to common Roly-polys but unlike them, these Spherillo sp. are native to Australia.

One package contains minimum of 5 isopods - 10 is a perfect amount to start a new colony but it will still work with less than that, just slower to populate their new home.

Sold in pack of 5.

Currently live animals are only shipped to SA, VIC, ACT, NSW and QLD.

Please check our Shipping and Returns policies for more details.

CARE TIPS

- Enclosure can be as simple as a plastic tub with holes for ventilation. Needs deep substrate for burrowing and a layer of leaf litter as main food source. One side of the enclosure should be always kept humid, with the opossite side mostly dry for humidity gradient.

- They eat decaying plant leaves and other decomposing materials. It's good to supplement their diet with occassional piece of fruit or vegetable or fish flakes for protein.

      Cute pal bugs

Although not much bigger than my garden Vulg variety, I am hoping over time these little ones grow big and strong!
